Course Description/Overview/Welcome Statement
Welcome to Math I support class!! Who doesn’t love a second dose of math in your day?! In this class we will support you in completing your grade level math class assignments, in understanding basic math facts and by making real life connections to the things you learn.
Specific IEP needs and accommodations will be addressed in a private and respectful manner in our class.
A 94-100% B 83-86% C 73-76% F 59 and below
A- 90-93% B- 80-82% C- 70-72%
B+ 87-89% C+ 77-79% D 60-69%
Assessment of Progress
A pencil or pen will be needed each day.
- Be respectful of yourself, the teacher, your classmates and the classroom/school.
- Come prepared and participate
- Use class time wisely
Students will grade themselves based on these expectations throughout the trimester.
IHS consequences will be followed as needed for behavior issues.

Cell phones are not to be used during class time.
Calendar of Due Dates for Major Assignments
There will be no major class assignments given in this class as it is a support class. We will be working on learning multiplication facts through a series of small timed assessments. Participation will be a major part of your grade in this class.
Progress Reports and Report Cards
Students are expected to check their progress throughout the trimester on Power School.
Connecting Home to School
A disclosure document will be sent home in the first couple of weeks that will require a parent signature. Parents, please sign and have your student bring back to school the bottom portion of the document.
