Ceramics in Design and Visual Communications

Jamie’s Design and Visual Communications classes are making a dish set out of ceramics. Each student is making a bowl, plate, and cup/mug. For the designs on our dishes they are studying the Elements & Principles of Design and focusing on Symmetry, Color, and Unity/Harmony. Their focus is to create a set of dishes that are a unified set. They have also been discussing job skills that relate to timeliness, productivity, and quality.
