We will soon be under new administration at Independence High School.  Our principal Chris Sorensen recently announced that he will be retiring as of December 2. Chris has been at our school for the last three and a half years. Independence High School has been completely changed because of Chris. The teachers, students and staff will always remember Chris for his example of kindness, humor, humility and dedication.

While we are so happy for Chris to finally retire so that he can be with his family and golf, we will miss him  so much! He has made a lasting impression on us here at Independence High School and is someone that we will never forget! Good luck in retirement Chris! We will miss you!
