Dear Independence High School Family,

It has been an interesting year in 2020 so far!  I want to personally tell you how excited we are to be starting a new school year with you and your student.  There are a lot of plans being made and things that will look different at the start of this year.  At any time, if you are confused or need assistance please call the school at 801-374-4920 Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 – 3:00.

School will start August 19!  Our schedule will be 8:25-1:40 Monday-Thursday with 50% of students in the building each day.  Please stay tuned for which part of the alphabet will come each day.  If you have not received a call from us about choosing IN PERSON or ONLINE options starting in August, please contact us at 801-374-4920.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION: DUE AUGUST 16

Independence High School  is asking that all families access their Parent Portal Account in powerschool for the 2020-2021 school year, update the student’s information, review important policies in order to access a district-provided computer device from our schools this year, and TO REGISTER.  Registration is electronic this year and there is no need to come into the school.

¡Ha sido un año interesante en 2020 hasta ahora!  Quiero decirles personalmente lo tan animados que estamos para empezar el nuevo año escolar con usted y su estudiante.  Aún hay muchos planes que se están formulando y habrá cosas que serán diferentes al empezar este año.  En cualquier momento si se encuentra confundido o si necesita ayuda, favor de llamar a la escuela  801-374-4920 Lunes-Viernes entre las horas de 8:00 – 3:00.

Información Importante de Inscripción en la escuela:  debido el día 16 de Agosto

Independence High School solicita que todas las familias entren a su Cuenta de Portal de Padres en PowerSchool para comenzar la inscripción del año escolar 2020-2021, actualizar la información del estudiante, revisar normas importantes y obtener un Chromebook de nuestras escuelas este año.  La inscripción este año va a estar en línea y no hay necesidad de venir a la escuela.
