Junior ROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) is a four-day camp where JROTC cadets from Utah and Idaho gather to learn leadership skills, develop friendships, and get a taste of Army life. During the four days the cadets live in Army barracks, eat in an Army dining facility, and participate in a variety of adventure activities. Those activities include rappelling, orienteering, constructing and crossing a rope bridge, and the Leadership Reaction Course (LRC). The LRC is a series of obstacles where participants have to use available materials and leadership and teamwork to successfully navigate the obstacles. Our cadets had a lot of fun and learned quite a bit. – Colonel David Miller
